The Vermeer PD10 is a dedicated solar pile driver designed to meet the tight tolerances required for large-scale solar array foundation installation. With an integrated auto-plumb system, the PD10 automatically adjusts its mast to a perfectly vertical position at the push of a button. This ensures each steel pile is driven plumb (straight) into the ground, reducing rework and guaranteeing that your solar array foundations meet engineering specifications.
High-Efficiency Post Pounding
Equipped with a high-frequency hydraulic hammer delivering up to 1,500 blows per minute, the PD10 drives posts quickly and firmly. This high impact rate means faster installation times—essential for utility-scale projects—and helps keep your solar construction schedule on track.
Advanced Positioning Technology
The PD10 can integrate with GPS and laser guidance systems to precisely position each pile. Your crew can install every pier at the correct location, depth, and angle on the first try. By minimizing surveying time and human error, the PD10 ensures consistent alignment across the entire solar field.

Built with a robust 4-cylinder diesel engine and a two-speed rubber track drive, the PD10 navigates challenging terrain while minimizing ground disturbance. The intuitive controls (dual joysticks and optional remote operation) enable a single operator to safely and efficiently manage the pile-driving process.
